Set against the breathtaking landscapes of KwaZulu-Natal, our camp offers activities like zip lining, high ropes, paintball, guided hikes, educational tours and more designed to inspire growth, connection, and lifelong memories. School Camps

At Greystone, we offer a variety of school camp options for Grades 3 to 12, including bonding, educational, adventure, teambuilding, and leadership camps—or a customised mix to suit your school’s needs. Our dedicated instructors lead the entire programme, ensuring campers are looked after from sunrise to sunset. With well-maintained facilities and all activities held to the highest safety standards with relevant COCs and SOPs, we provide an enriching, safe environment where students can thrive.

OUR HISTORY

Being the original Veld & Vlei Centre, Greystone Camp is filled with years of character and brings you the perfect blend between the old and the new.

Our friendly staff work hard to present you with a clean camp, set in beautiful gardens with an excellent view. We pride ourselves on bringing you the best camp food ever. If you are looking for that surprisingly good school outing and leadership course, or a great venue for your church or youth camps, come experience the peace of our Lord Jesus that so many say is evident here at Greystone.

Adventure Awaits

Why Wait any longer?

Greystone overlooks the Wagendrift Dam and Moor Park Nature Reserve that hosts zebra, wildebeest and various buck species. There are also 100 bird species including the black eagle and fish eagle on those special days. The Greystone house is a national monument and the camp accommodation is mostly in rondavels. Situated 13 km outside of Estcourt, KwaZulu Natal, 200km from Durban and 400km from Johannesburg.

Our Facilities

Seats up to 250 people. Includes bathroom areas for male and female. Projector & projector screen available in the Hall.

Seats up to 120 people. Includes toilets for male and female. Beautiful views overlooking Wagendrift Dam.

Has 10 rooms that sleep 4 people each. Can cater for up to 40 people. Includes 3 toilets and 4 shower areas.

Sleeps up to 3 people per unit. There are 3 teachers units available. Includes a small kitchen area, shower and toilet. As well as made-up beds and provided towels for your comfort.

Monument House features seven rooms, accommodating two guests each. Amenities include a cozy lounge with DSTV, a coffee bar with complimentary tea and coffee, a dining area, two shared bathrooms, as well as made-up beds and provided towels for your comfort.

Sleeps up to 14 people per unit. There are 6 rondavels available.

Communal eating area which accommodates up to 140 people.

We are currently constructing an 18m by 10m swimming pool, which is expected to be ready for use in the New Year.
