Registered nonprofit and community organisations may apply for a Greystone discount. The potential discount is calculated across eligible accommodation nights, meals and instructor-led activity days for participants and paying support staff. NPO registration certificate or NPC registration documentation, where applicable.
Constitution, Memorandum of Incorporation or trust deed.
A letter on the organisation’s letterhead explaining its work, the purpose of the camp and who will benefit.
SARS PBO approval letter, if the organisation has PBO status.

Church Group Discount Application

Church groups may apply for a Greystone discount. The potential discount is calculated across eligible accommodation nights, meals and instructor-led activity days for participants and paying support staff. The discount is not automatic and will only be confirmed in Greystone’s official quotation.

A letter on the church’s official letterhead confirming the church name and responsible leader.
A short motivation explaining the purpose of the camp, who will benefit and why the discount is being requested.
The church constitution, registration document or another document confirming the organisation, where available.

How To Choose A 2 Night Camp

Greystone's standard 2 night camps run from Monday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Friday, or Friday to Sunday.

Blue dates show dates that can form part of a suitable two-night stay. Select a valid arrival date first, then select the matching departure date two days later. A new group may arrive on the same day another group departs, and your selected range will be highlighted in orange.

All standard packages include accommodation, meals and a Greystone instructor-led programme. Greystone does not offer self-catering.

Greystone instructors are on site and lead the camp programme from the early-morning sunrise hike through to the evening activities. We are also flexible: your group can include its own sessions, and our team can help move participants between Greystone activities, the hall and your programme.

Extended Instructor-Led Camp

For stays of four nights or longer, the standard package automatically follows the selected date range. Meals are calculated at three per night, and instructor-led activity days normally match the number of nights.

Build Your Own Camp Package

Use this option when you need a different meal combination, fewer instructor-led activity days, or no activities. The number of nights may be any length, but it should match your selected camp dates.

Greystone charges by instructor-led activity day, not by individual activity. A one-day selection runs from 09:00 to 17:00.

Sit-Down Lunch On Departure DayThis must be confirmed by Greystone because it depends on whether another group is arriving. If a later sit-down lunch is not possible, a packed lunch can be provided instead. Packed Lunch On Departure DayCharged at the same price as any other meal. BraaiReplaces one included meal and is charged at the normal meal price plus R35 per person.

You requested a later departure. You may add either a sit-down lunch or a packed lunch above, but an extra meal is not compulsory.

Educational camp options

We can discuss educational experiences such as a trip to the Wagendrift Dam Wall, a tour of Fort Durnford Museum, a hike from Greystone to Wagendrift Dam, or mission trips to local crèches. Once your camp is confirmed, let us know which options may interest your group.

Would you like a leadership talk with international speaker David Allen? For 81 or more participants, the selected talk is included at no charge. For fewer than 81 participants, the total charge is R2,500 for 1.5 hours or R3,500 for 3 hours.

Your group will run its own programme

Because no Greystone activity days have been selected, we will assume your group is running its own camp programme and the daily hall-hire fee will be added automatically.

For safety, guests may not use Greystone adventure equipment or activity facilities without one of our qualified camp instructors. Activities are charged per instructor-led day, not per individual activity. Even if your group only wants one or two activities, a full activity-day charge applies.
